By accessing or using stedoo ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including presenters and audience members.
stedoo is a web-based presentation platform that allows presenters to upload PDF slides, create live or asynchronous sessions, and engage audiences through Q&A, real-time polls, and AI-powered chat. Audience members may join sessions via a participation code or link without creating an account.
To use presenter features, you must register an account using an email address and password or Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. You must be at least 14 years old to create an account (users under 14 require parental consent). You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
stedoo offers Free, Pro, and Business plans. Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis. Payments are processed by Paddle.com, which acts as the Merchant of Record. By subscribing, you agree to Paddle's terms of service and privacy policy. Prices are listed in USD. Applicable taxes may be added by Paddle depending on your location.
If you are a consumer in the Republic of Korea, you have the right to withdraw from a subscription within 7 days of your initial purchase under the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce (전자상거래법). However, by completing your subscription purchase, you expressly consent to the immediate commencement of the Service and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal may be limited once the Service has begun, in accordance with Article 17(2) of the same Act. You will be notified of this at the point of purchase. If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal within 7 days and the Service has not been substantially used, please contact us at hello@stedoo.com.
You agree not to use the Service to: (a) upload or share content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes third-party rights; (b) distribute malware or attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems; (c) harass, abuse, or threaten other users; (d) scrape, reverse-engineer, or copy the Service; (e) use the Service for any illegal purpose. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
You retain ownership of all content you upload, including PDF files and presentation scripts. By uploading content, you grant stedoo a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content solely to operate the Service. You represent that you have the rights to upload and share such content.
stedoo's AI chat feature uses the Gemini API (Google) to generate responses based on your uploaded presentation content. AI responses are automatically generated and may not always be accurate. You should not rely on AI responses for professional, legal, or medical advice. We are not responsible for the accuracy of AI-generated content.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STEDOO AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and data retention schedule.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 7 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Seoul, Korea.
